Anthropic's AI tools, Claude Enterprise subscriptions, are being adjusted to a model that charges based on computing usage rather than a flat fee of up to $200 per user per month. This could make it significantly more expensive for some enterprise users. The changes come amid complaints that Anthropic's performance has deteriorated, with one user claiming that Claude Code could no longer be trusted for complex engineering work. The company has responded by stating that these changes are intended to better reflect how customers use Claude.
