The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) held a State of Education event at Franklin High School in Stockton, California, to celebrate public education. The event showcased the programs and offerings each of the county's 14 school districts. Each event included interactive displays of science, technology, engineering, arts or math elements. The keynote speaker, Dr. Troy Brown, said the event was important to showcase the good in public education and highlighted the opportunities for students in the county.
