A 29-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a car hit pedestrians in central London, leaving one woman in a life-threatening condition. Gabrielle Carrington, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, is also charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm and drink-driving. The incident occurred at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
