Psychiatrician Dr. Samantha Boardman suggests that adding a "awe walk" to your daily walk, or "flaneuring," to enhance the mental health benefits of walking, can significantly increase the benefits of mental health, cardiovascular fitness, reduced blood pressure and blood sugar, boosted metabolism, weight maintenance (or loss), improved bone health, and more.
