FAA, Pentagon OK lasers to shoot down drones along southern border

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Transportation (DNC) have agreed to use lasers to destroy drones, following a safety assessment that did not pose undue risks to passenger aircraft. This agreement follows a shutdown of airspace over El Paso, Texas, following similar incidents in 2004.
