The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is considering criminal charges against alt-pop artist d4vd in connection with the killing of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The case is being reviewed by the Major Crimes Division to determine if the facts and evidence meet the threshold for criminal charges. The 21-year old singer, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested seven months after Rivas' decomposed body was discovered in his apparently abandoned Tesla. Her body was found more than a year after she was reported missing in Southern California. Prosecutors have not established a clear timeline for when Rivas was killed, though court records indicate she was 14 at the time.
