Philadelphia Phillies rookie right-hander Andrew Painter was scheduled to start due to a migraine and instead pitched five innings of relief. Right-hander Zach Pop also started the game, giving up three hits and one run in the first two innings. Despite feeling under pressure, Painter managed to lower his ERA from 4.82 to 3.77.
