It also prohibits the use of the technology for launching or detonating a nuclear weapon. These concerns arose during a recent dispute with AI giant Anthropic, which has been involved in the military's ongoing battle with Iran. Slotkin believes her legislation could have prevented this dispute, which could cost taxpayers an enormous amount of money.
