She revealed that she had the "worst anxiety" about returning home to Utah and was afraid to lose "all the progress" she had made with her health while away from home. The name of her disease is chronic inflammatory response syndrome, or CIRS, which she says is caused by prolonged exposure to toxins. Despite recent updates, Matthews stated that her skin had been managingable and feeling more normal.
