A public Q &A was held at Café Corazon to clarify the upcoming Southwest Boulevard “road diet” project. The project will reduce the current four-lane road to two lanes, with strategically placed left turn lanes at the intersections and other places where people would need to turn into businesses. This differs from the $43.6 million project covering Southwest Boulevard from 25th Street to 31st Street. The city hopes to have the project completed by the beginning of June in time for the World Cup.
