The Vienna Presbyterian Church is set to host the fourth annual Be Our Guest Prom for teenagers with special needs in May. The event includes a dinner, dancing, karaoke, and gifts for teenagers matched with peer buddies, usually local high school or college students, while their parents are treated to a catered dinner. Caitlin Thrasher, whose two children are on the autism spectrum, has attended every one of these proms. The events are well attended by children and adults of all ages and are open to all.
