Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRX) is offering free and easier ways into the city for football fans worried about traffic, parking and crowds during the NFL Draft. The "Football Flyer" buses will begin routes outside the city, picking up riders from the north, south, east and west and taking them to the draft. Fans can park for free at Monroeville Mall and board the 99E for a free ride downtown. The idea appealed to some fans initially hesitant about attending the draft, but the idea changed some minds. The buses will cover all four corners of Allegheny County and operate every 15 minutes on each day. Additional staff and announcements will be made on board to inform riders about events.
