JetBlue Plane Forced to Turn Around After Striking Coyote During Takeoff: 'We Heard a Thud,' Says Passenger

JetBlue flight 1129 was forced to divert from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport after hitting a coyote during takeoff. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the Airbus A320 struck the coyote on the tarmac. The plane was diverted to T.f. Green and flew in a loop before landing back at the airport. Passengers had to leave the plane for a thorough inspection. There were no reports of injuries and the flight took off later in the morning.
