A revival of the short-form video platform, Vine, has been launched by Jack Dorsey-backed nonprofit and Other Stuff. The app, which includes hundreds of thousands of archive videos from the original Vine platform, is now available on the App Store and Google Play. The team behind the revival of Vine had to reconstruct the original archive from large backup files and restore associated engagement data. The underlying technology behind Divine is also supported by Dorsey.
