A pizza-and-cocktail spot, Sama 'Za, is opening in Hell's Kitchen on March 31. The concept was conceived by the team behind Monkey Thief and aims to recreate the feeling of a neighborhood pizza joint from the '80s and '90s. The menu includes a 72-hour fermented dough designed for structure, chew and char, and several themed drinks. The space is decorated with stained glass lighting, wood paneling, red and white tables, and a CRT TV behind the bar.
