The Moms for Liberty, a conservative-leaning organization, is hosting a fireworks event on Ellis Island to celebrate America's 250th birthday and the fifth anniversary of the organization. The event will also feature exhibits and fine dining. This follows several previous incidents where residents were unaware of fireworks set off over the Hudson River.
