A jury in Burnet County has sentenced 40-year-old Ryan Lopez to 10 years in prison for evading arrest and assaulting an officer. The conviction stemmed from a high-speed chase in 2024 involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Despite a successful deflated tire, Lopez was eventually taken into custody after an hour-long standoff.
