Longview Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Karen Cloninger has announced changes to strengthen student safety and restore trust at Mark Morris High School in Longview, Texas. The changes come after two students were arrested and charged with rape for alleged assaults on other boys on the school's basketball team. Cloningen also announced that students will have access to counseling and support services, and that there will be greater communication between school buildings, building leadership and the district office to ensure clear reporting pathways.
