Barry Bonds, a seven-time Most Valuable Player for the San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates, made several surprising revelations during his Netflix debut as an analyst for the network. He revealed that the New York Yankees made a last-ditch effort to sign him in 1993, but this was thwarted by an ultimatum from owner George Steinbrenner, who died in 2010. Bonds also revealed that he will be part of Netflix's coverage of the Home Run Derby on July 13 and the Field of Dreams game on Aug. 13. He expressed his excitement and optimism about the future of the Giants under manager Tony Vitello, who came straight out of college without any experience in the major leagues.
