He revealed that the New York Yankees made a last-ditch effort to sign him in 1993, but this was thwarted by an ultimatum from owner George Steinbrenner, who died in 2010. Bonds also revealed that he will be part of Netflix's coverage of the Home Run Derby on July 13 and the Field of Dreams game on Aug. 13.
