Oops: South Korean cops lost $5M in seized crypto after leaking wallet password

South Korean police lost $5.6 million in cryptocurrency after mistakenly posting images of the seized assets online. The images were taken by local media outlets and tech publications covering the theft. The stolen 4 million PRTG (Pre-Retogeum) tokens were worth approximately $4.8 million. Police have launched an investigation with the National Tax Service to trace the transfer and retrieve the lost funds.
