Vice President Vance, who is leading the Trump administration's war on fraud, has announced a nearly $260 million moratorium on Medicaid funding for Minnesota. This move comes as the administration seeks to move on from its controversial immigration campaign in the state. Critics, including Maddie Twomey, from the Democratic-aligned health advocacy group Protect Our Care, argue that attacking health care is rarely politically sound. The White House has consistently stated its focus on reducing costs of health care, despite cutting funding for Medicaid and ObamaCare over the past year. However, some in the GOP argue that Vance's efforts could benefit them in the upcoming midterm elections. The scandal surrounding Minnesota's Medicaid program led to a drop in Gov.
