The Tam O'Shanter steakhouse in Los Angeles, which opened its doors in 1922, has been a popular spot for Hollywood stars such as Walt Disney, John Wayne, and Tom Hanks. The restaurant was nicknamed the "studio commissary" for its proximity to Disney's Hyperion Studio and its availability as a convenient location. The two-hour experience includes a chance to eat some of Disney's favorite foods and learn about his long-standing connection to the restaurant. Additionally, diners can reserve Table 31, where Disney sat, ate, and thought up some of his most famous creations. The building was designed in the storybook style by artist and set designer Harry Oliver and is decorated with Scottish-themed and historical items.
