A survey by media watchdog group MRC NewsBusters revealed that 94% of late-night hosts' jokes during Operation Epic Fury, the first week of Operation Eric Fury, were directed at the United States and its allies, rather than Iran and other adversaries. The survey also found that 235 of the 250 jokes delivered about the conflict in the Middle East were aimed at the U.S., Israel, and other Arab nations forced to take defensive action against Iranian attacks. The most joked-about individual was President Trump, with 229 jokes made, followed by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla). Meanwhile, Seth Meyers told the most jokes about the US, with 52, and was the only host to focus on America.
