Professional race car drivers Kylie Marie Walton and Janey Lee were seriously injured after their vehicle caught fire during a live event on March 24. Lee's husband, Eric, shared a video on Instagram to clarify the accident and credits the co-drivers' protective gear for preventing the situation from being worse than it was. Lee suffered extensive burns to her legs, shoulders, and hands, and Walton also sustained burns to both. Despite spending 20 days in the Burn Unit ICU, Lee has been able to start walking again with assistance from her nurses.
