The audio from the moments before a fatal collision between an Air Canada passenger plane and a firefighting truck at LaGuardia airport has been released, revealing that one air traffic controller admitted to having "messed up" during the incident. The collision, which killed the jet's pilot and co-pilot, occurred when the truck was cleared to cross the airport's Runway 4 before air traffic controllers urged a Frontier plane bound for Miami and the vehicle to stop. The controller ordered Delta flight 2603, en-falling from Detroit, to stop before turning back to the Air Canada plane. The incident occurred shortly after United 2384 pilots aborted a takeoff due to an anti-ice warning light appearing on the dash. The National Transportation Safety Board is set to arrive on site.
