A major windstorm that hit Toledo, Ohio, left a fallen tree a safety hazard in the backyards of some residents, Richard Lewandowski, who wants Toledo Edison to remove it, but the utility company has stated it is not its responsibility. Lewandowski has been unable to address the issue and is concerned about potential future hazards. He has called numerous times to have the downed tree addressed, but claims that Edison disconnected the electric up there on the pole or on the wire and left the tree here. He points out that a similar situation occurred on the other side of his street where a tree fell onto power lines and a roof and was quickly addressed.
