Eddie Peng and Ewan Mitchell are set to star in the action film "The Healer," the feature directorial debut of Can Aydin. The film is set in a city governed by shadows where a blind acupuncturist (Peng) uses heightened senses to mend bodies the world has broken. The actors will be joined by Smylie Bradwell, Georgina Beedle, and Jameela Jamil. Highland Film Group and 66cc are launching international sales on the film in Cannes. Molly Hassell and Electric Shadow are producing the actioner for Hassell Free Productions, with Jason Eric Laciste, Dejan Ahrens, and Jonah Greenberg. The production was undertaken in association with Victor Hadida’s Davis Films.
