She also suggested that the federal government should not be playing a role in telling states how to conduct their own elections. Friedman also expressed her opposition to efforts that make it harder for eligible Americans to vote and that she supports immigration reform that benefits both parties. She urged Congress to pass legislation to secure the border and an immigration system that works.
