Fed's Goolsbee says rate cuts may need to wait until 2027

Chicago Federal Reserve President, Austan Goolsbee, has suggested that interest-rate cuts may need to wait until 2027 depending on how long oil prices continue to rise. Goolsbees believes it's his responsibility to restore inflation to 2% and potentially multiple rate cuts. He had previously thought that this would occur before the Iran war.
