A road rage incident involving Leonard Diaz, a 23-year-old man from west Miami-Dade, led to the arrest of Diaz for brandishing a gun during an argument at the parking garage of Miami Dade College’s Hialeah Campus. The victim claimed Diaz had been aggressive and threatened to use the weapon against him. Diaz was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, sale or delivery of a controlled substance, improper exhibition of a firearm and unlawful discharge of firearm in a public place. During an inventory search following Diaz's arrest, authorities found two small baggies of suspected cocaine and several suspected ecstasy pills.
