Authorities are conducting a search on property near the home of Jim Grimes in Giles County, Tennessee, nearly five years after his murder. Grimes was shot and killed while he was feeding animals on his property on April 19, 2021. Several agencies, including the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, were executing a search warrant near Grimes’ home in Lynnville. The search continues.
