Ye Returns to Hot Latin Songs Chart With Peso Pluma Collab ‘Last Breath’

Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) has made his return to the top 10 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart with the bilingual song “Last Breath” which debuts at No. 5 on April 11. This is Ye's first entry on the Hot Latin Song since it became a multennial ranking in October 2012. The song was produced by Ye, Sheffmade and Ty Dolla Sign and samples the Latin jazz track “Bésame Mamá” written by Cuban percussionist and bandleader Ramón ‘Mongo’ Santamaría. While this is Ye’s first top 10 for the Hot Latino Songs, Peso Pluma’es adds his 33rd career top 10. The success comes as Ye is facing backlash over his booking to headline London’�s Wireless Festival.
