Portage County deputies find woman, 78, and man, 70, shot dead inside home

The Portage County Sheriff's Office has found two people, identified as Connie S. Edens, 78 and 70, shot dead during a welfare check. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. No one responded to requests from deputies, who found the bodies in the home. The sheriff's office is working to determine the circumstances of the incident.
