NWS says tornado is responsible for tearing apart Atwater home

The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that a tornado caused significant damage to an Atwater home, California, home, believed to have been caused by a twister. The National Weather Services confirmed that their initial findings point to a possible tornado touching down in Atwater. The witness, Jesus Duran, captured the moment the powerful winds pulled large pieces of debris hundreds of feet into the air, which were scattered all over the surrounding area. No injuries were reported.
