Loranger woman to serve 60 years in 2024 kidnapping case

Victoria Cox, a 34-year-old woman from Loranger, will serve 60 years in prison in relation to the 2024 kidnapping and murder of Callie Brunett. Her sentencing will be held on April 27. Additionally, Cox will serve 50 years at hard labor on the charge of attempted aggravated kidnapping, which will be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
