Suspect in custody after shots fired in Deerfield Beach armed robbery attempt, deputies say

A suspect is in custody following a violent robbery attempt in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Broward Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting at the 1100 block of South Military Trail. The victim managed to escape without being injured. The second suspect's whereabouts and involvement have not been disclosed.
