AI, Crypto Czar David Sacks Resigns, Moves to Co-Chair President’s Advisory Science Body

David Sacks, a South African-born entrepreneur and former chief operating officer at PayPal, has resigned from his position as White House AI and crypto czar and will instead be co-chairing the President’s Advisory Science Body. This comes two weeks after he suggested that the United States should abandon the Middle East war and focus on technology. Sacks was appointed by then-President-elect Donald Trump in December 2024.
