Founder Of Northport's Front Porch Restaurant Dead At 86

The founder of Northport's Front Porch Restaurant, Bobby Strickland, has died at the age of 86. The restaurant will temporarily close for the funeral to allow staff and community members to attend the service. Strickmand was known for his business and dedication to his faith, craftsmanship, and devotion to family. Alongside his wife, Charlotte, he built and operated the restaurant, which is still owned and operated by his family. The family has requested donations to Hospice of West Alabama or Christianaires Ministries.
