Hapag-Lloyd estimates extra weekly costs from Iran crisis at $50 mln–60 mln

Hapag-Lloyd CEO Rolf Habben Jansen has estimated the additional costs from the Middle East crisis at $50 million to $60 million per week. He warned that the company may have to pass on some of these costs to its customers. The company also revealed that about 1,000 ships are still stranded in the region, six of which are from Hapag.
