Doug Andrus, a lifelong enthusiast of classic cars, has chosen a 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible from a company that specializes in renting classic cars for weddings and special events. After a determined search, Andrus found the perfect car in Birmingham, Michigan. Since then, he has refined the car while preserving its original character. The car has been dressed in a 2008 Corvette Z06 “Victory Red” and features unique features such as vent windows, an ignition switch mounted in the dashboard, and taillights integrated into the rear bumper. The original 400-cubic-inch engine has been rebuilt and enhanced with performance upgrades, including a roller cam and rocker arms, and an MSD ignition system.
