Walmart has found that its products outshine Ace Hardware in price and quality, based on test results and firsthand impressions from customers and professionals. The retailer also sells home improvement and automotive gear, including tires and power tools, and in-house brands owned by Walmart, Hyper Tough. These products are often cheaper than the competition but also perform better as well. The Hyper Tough 20V Max Compact 1/2-inch Impact Wrench, which is currently available from Walmart for around $75, was the highest-scoring battery-powered model in an extensive comparison conducted by Torque Test Channel. The EverStart brand of car batteries is also considered reliable and often affordable. However, reviews from Ace customers are not generally positive.
