How some Americans could qualify for a $1,000 ‘dog tax credit’

Blue Buffalo is offering a $1,000 “dog credit” to pet owners this tax season, allowing them to "write off” the cost of food, treats and toys for their pets. The natural pet food brand is offering the Love Made Fresh Dog Tax Credit to 200 pet parents for whom they believe their pets are valued as children. The credit will be given to those who consistently demonstrate unconditional love to their dogs. The company is encouraging pet parents to participate in the promotion, with a maximum of four entries per household.
