Warning over deadly batch of contaminated heroin in Southport

At least five people have overdosed on a contaminated heroin in Southport, England, since 13 April. Forensic tests have confirmed the substance contains the super-high strength synthetic opioid etonitazene. Sefton Council's director of public health, Dr. Rory McGill, has called these reports "deeply concerning". All overdoses are linked to the same batch of heroin.
