Dr. David Vincent Ream delivered two sets of fraternal twins at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on April 8. The birth was witnessed by Dr. Beth Maxwell, who delivered him 34 years ago and later trained him throughout his residency. Ream described the births as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," noting that his hospital only delivers about 1,000 babies a year and larger medical centers may deliver around 10,000 newborns in that same period.
