El Salvadorian immigrant Santos Alvarenga-Rodriguez, an undocumented immigrant, has been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding federal officers in Howard County, Maryland. The complaint alleges that during a traffic stop, he bit an officer on his left forearm and cut another officer's nose during his arrest. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland has filed a criminal complaint against Alvareigna-Robbic.
