Dalia brings wood-fired Spanish cuisine to South Boston

The Broadway Restaurant Group in South Boston has introduced a new concept, Dalia, a new restaurant concept that focuses on wood-fired Spanish cuisine. The restaurant, which opened in an expansive space with 226 seats and three bars, features a chef-driven concept that incorporates Spanish ingredients into the menu. The focus of Dalia is on Spanish cooking, done in an open kitchen on sourced-from-Spain Josper grills. The chef, Nick Dixon, executive chef at Dalia and culinary director, said the focus of the restaurant is on woodfired cooking. The wine list is largely Spanish and affordable, with additions from Portugal, France, and the U.S. Dalia's cocktail menu ($15), from beverage director Katie Kelly, also utilizes Spanish ingredients.
