Thousands gathered in Germany to celebrate the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, following US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran the previous day. Demonstrations took place in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt, with at least 1,800 people gathering at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The event was held under the name "evaluation," and was led by Prince Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah of Iran. In other demonstrations, participants carried posters with pictures of Pahlavis, who has been proposed as a transitional leader in Iran.
