Olmsted Falls City School District Superintendent Jim Lloyd has written an article expressing how school vouchers undermine public education in Ohio. Lloyd, who is currently a board member of the Horace Mann League of the USA, argued that using public resources to subsidize private schooling has been a trend in the state for a while. He stressed that public schools serve all children equally and that vouchers often operate differently without transparency and accountability. The article was intended to remind people of the separation between public resources and private choices. Lloyd also mentioned a lawsuit against the state over funding public education and the introduction of House Bill 671, which would remove any school district from participating in this lawsuit.
