El Paso police have arrested a registered sex offender, 47-year-old Jesus Alfredo Cuellar, for allegedly meeting up with a 9-year old girl. The police are accusing Cueellar of failing to report a new phone number, social media accounts, and email address. He was charged with three counts of failure to comply with sex offenders' duty to register. As of Wednesday afternoon, he remains in jail. The department has stated it will continue to monitor and arrest registered sex offenders if they violate their conditions.
