‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ reboot no longer happening, Sarah Michelle Gellar announces

Hulu is discontinuing the "Buffy: New Sunnydale" reboot, announced by Sarah Michelle Gellar on Instagram. The series was set to premiere in 2025 and began filming in Los Angeles in August. Gellar thanked Academy Award-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao for his involvement in the project.
